Dr. Anthony C. Jones

ABOUT ME

Dr. Anthony C. Jones is a strategic leader and retired U.S. Air Force veteran with more than two decades of experience leading in mission-critical environments. His background spans executive leadership, organizational development, and talent strategy, with a disciplined focus on trust, accountability, and excellence.

He earned his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University’s School of Business & Leadership, with research focused on leadership judgment, organizational culture, and complex decision-making under pressure.

Throughout his career, Dr. Jones has taught, developed, and advised hundreds of leaders, led teams through transformation, and designed high-trust operating models that sustain performance across remote and hybrid environments.

Over time, he has witnessed how poor judgment and insecure leadership quietly diminished talented people. He has seen capable individuals overlooked or constrained, not for lack of ability, but because those entrusted to lead were unequipped to lead them. That reality shaped his commitment to building systems that recognize, develop, and protect talent.

Beyond FirstWave, Dr. Jones serves as a strategic advisor to a nonprofit organization and is a member of the Nominations Committee for the Association of DSL Professionals. He remains committed to leadership development at every level, investing in youth football that emphasizes discipline, accountability, and character.
